I am a Kamilaroi woman from Gunnedah NSW. My family moved to Newcastle in 1999 when I was 14yrs old. I have lived, grown and started my own family on Awabakal Country during this time.

I have a Diploma in Community Services Case Management and a Diploma in Children’s Services.

I have worked at Wandiyali in the Brighter Futures Program since 2010.

I started my career at Wandiyali as the Brighter Futures Playgroup Coordinator.

I then moved into the role of Coordinating the Ginda Wakulda program, which offered child focused in-home parenting support.

I progressed into the role of  Brighter Futures Caseworker from 2018 and as of June 2022 have begun my journey  Managing  the Brighter Futures Program.

I am passionate about supporting parents to keep their children safe within their family home, building strong positive relationships with family and promoting connection to culture to strengthen sense of belonging and identity.
