I completed my social work degree at the University of Newcastle in 2015. Since entering the professional workforce, I have worked in both non-government and government organisations in early intervention child protection and family preservation.
I have worked at Wandiyali since 2018 and am passionate about working alongside Aboriginal families and communities to ensure the safety, wellbeing and positive long-term outcomes for children and families. I feel privileged to work alongside many passionate and skilled professionals at Wandiyali and strong Aboriginal families.
I value the importance of using evidence informed practices to ensure effective and sustainable outcomes for children, families, and communities and am committed to ensuring my practice is culturally safe and responsive. At the forefront of my practice is the belief that culture is ever present and permeates the experiences of each family we work with.
