I am proud Worimi woman and descendant of the Gampingal tribe. My family are originally from Soldiers Point but were moved to Karuah in the late 1800s. I grew up in Bungwahl and Forster and lived with my grandparents for most of my life. My grandparents are no longer here with me but I still feel them guiding me every day. I know they would be very proud of the work I am doing with our kids and families.
I started working at Wandiyali as a PSP caseworker in July 2021 before moving to my new role as PSP Casework Coordinator in June this year but have been in the sector in various roles since 2013.
I am passionate about supporting children and young people to stay connected to their family and culture. I feel honoured to work alongside our amazing carers, kids and families.
