Going Home Staying Home

Formerly known as Hunter Koori Youth Service (HKYS), Wandiyali’s first funded program, Going Home Staying Home (GHSH) is an accommodation service targeting Aboriginal young people who are homeless or at risk of homelessness. The program provides client centred, culturally appropriate, homelessness support, including prevention and early intervention, rehousing, crisis and transitional accommodation, and intensive responses for Aboriginal young people with complex needs or Aboriginal young people leaving care or other institutions.

Wandiyali is the lead provider for the Newcastle, Lake Macquarie and Port Stephens Aboriginal youth service.
